PhD applicants: If you are interested in studying the behavioral approach to regulation, please consider applying to the Public Policy PhD Program. I am especially interested in students who can connect formal theory with institutional reality: students with the mathematical maturity to develop models in economics, computer science, or related fields, and with firsthand or deeply grounded knowledge of how agencies, firms, platforms, or regulated industries actually operate.

I will not be accepting students into the PhD in Information Science.
